Hey this is Susan and I hope you’re having a great day!
I’m just getting back from a new Lean Body Boot Camp session in Saratoga Springs, NY.
My campers are serious!
About 15 minutes prior to bootcamp it started to pour – and I mean it down poured!
I thought for sure my campers would decide just to hang out at work and eat lunch instead of attending bootcamp but boy was I wrong!
They all came! And they all worked really hard!
It was great! And surprisingly, it was fun too. Nothing screams “good times” louder than seal jumps in the pouring rain!
Hopefully, Wednesday’s bootcamp session will have bright, sunny skies because my boot campers definitely deserve it!
Today’s workout had two cool features:
- “Abdominator” workout
- Challenge workout
In case you’re wondering, I am the Abdominator!
Essentially, today’s workout had a very abdominal focus. The warm up, the workout, and the intervals all involved exercises that engaged the core. That’s the key to strong abdominals, flattening your belly, revealing six pack abs, and preventing low back injuries.
Additionally, we had a strength component called a “challenge workout”. During this segment we performed 4 exercises for # of repetitions and recorded each score.
During the course of this month we will re-test these particular exercises and look to out perform the previous score.
And I know everyone will constantly be improving their scores because we will constantly be improving out strength and endurance and setting new goals to achieve.
Not to mention, whittling waistlines!
